Walking around with my iPhone, I decided to capture the many beautiful statues here in Paris. Here’s one from Auguste Cain in Jardin du Luxembourg. He has several statues around the city, and I love them all. Next time I’ll try when there’s sun.

sometimes because I live here in Paris, I forget the fun people have taking photos of their adventures.
These 2 young ladies were having a great time on the bridge at sunset and let me photograph them. Thanks and bon voyage (this was a while ago, and I just ran across the photo).

L’homme du midi. Wines from southern France, like Bandol are my favorites. Many people would like this one. I can’t describe it like an aficionado, so please try it.
Red and though meaty, we ate it with chicken and butternut squash. Silky smooth and not too young. If you find you like the cépage or grape variety, then we should talk about others.
All this American could do was bring something to wash it down.
